Shihan Ken Robson says:
"The journey we encourage people to embark on is not an easy journey. Anything that is worth having in life is hard to come by, and training in Aikido is no different. Our students will have some very good times training; they will also have some very challenging times. This is normal. The rewards Aikido have to offer are massive and potentially life changing. The effort required by our students and instructors alike must be in equal proportions. The instructors and I are dedicated to providing the very best we can in terms of service and experience."

Shudokan Institute of Aikido International

The Shudokan Institute of Aikido International was founded by the late Soke Edwin Stratton (9th Dan) who studied Yoshinkan Aikido under Gozo Shioda sensei and Thamby Rajah sensei of Malaysia. Soke Stratton introduced Yoshinkan Aikido for the first time to the UK in the early 1960`s and was the founder of Yoshinkan UK. Today the style retains its Yoshinkan roots but includes influences from other Martial Arts styles as well.
